Norwegian cancels more sailings in 2025 & 2026

After scrapping 38 voyages aboard three ships that were supposed to set sail in 2025 and 2026, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has cancelled more itineraries for the same period.
The move impacts voyages aboard the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway ships.
The sailings were supposed to depart in the following months:
- Norwegian Encore: November 2025 through January 2026
- Norwegian Bliss: November 2025 through March 2026
- Norwegian Breakaway: January 2026 through February 2026
The changes were “a result of a fleet redeployment,” a spokesperson for the line told USA TODAY in an emailed statement.
Guests booked on the cancelled sailings will receive a full refund of their paid fare and a 10 per cent future cruise credit.

The discount can be used on any published voyage through Dec. 31, 2026.
“We are committed to providing exceptional vacation experiences, both aboard our ships and by taking our guests to some of the most sought-out destinations around the world,” NCL’s statement said. “While we try to maintain original itineraries as much as possible, occasionally, scheduled itineraries may need to be cancelled, to allow the opportunity to introduce enhanced voyages that accommodate strong guest demand and provide a more immersive experience.”
The last round of cancellations impacted voyages aboard Norwegian Jewel, the Norwegian Star and the Norwegian Dawn.
