MSC boosts advisor earnings with 10% air commission, expands Fly & Cruise

MSC Cruises is expanding its air-inclusive offerings in Canada, giving travel advisors more ways to earn commission while offering clients greater flexibility when pairing flights with a cruise.

The cruise line has enhanced both its Fly & Cruise and Flex Air programs, with travel advisors now able to earn an additional 10 per cent commission on the air portion of bookings, on top of their regular cruise commission.

The expansion also brings new Fly & Cruise options to Fort-de-France, Martinique, and Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, aboard MSC World Europa, building on the program already offered from La Romana aboard MSC Opera.

Flights are available from multiple Canadian gateways, with Halifax now included on select itineraries.

More Fly & Cruise options

MSC Cruises' Fly & Cruise program combines flights, cruise accommodations and transfers into a single reservation.

Advisors can now book packages aboard MSC Opera sailing from La Romana, Dominican Republic, as well as MSC World Europa departures from Martinique and Guadeloupe.

For MSC Opera sailings from La Romana, direct flights to Punta Cana are available from Toronto, Montreal and Halifax on select itineraries.

For MSC World Europa's French Antilles sailings, direct flights to Fort-de-France are available from Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City, while direct flights to Pointe-à-Pitre are available from Montreal.

The packages feature same-day flights coordinated with cruise departures, dedicated support and assured arrival in the event of travel disruptions.

Roundtrip MSC Cruises transfers between the airport and port are included, along with seven-night cruise accommodations, dining and entertainment.

Guests can also pre-book drinks and Wi-Fi packages. The Easy Drink Package is available exclusively to Canadian guests aboard MSC Opera.

The itineraries provide access to Southern Caribbean destinations including Aruba, Barbados and Martinique.

Flex Air offers more customization

For travellers looking to build more flexibility into their vacation, MSC Cruises' Flex Air program allows flights to be added either at the time of booking or after a cruise reservation has been created.

Clients can arrive up to three days before their cruise or remain at their destination for up to three days after sailing.

The program also includes assured arrival to the ship in the event of flight disruptions and is available from most major Canadian gateways.

MSC Cruises transfers can be added separately, while a 24/7 support team is available to assist travellers throughout their journey.

Under both Fly & Cruise and Flex Air, travel advisors receive an additional 10 per cent commission on the air portion of the booking.
