Emerald Cruises announces new Safari and the Seychelles itinerary

Emerald Cruises has announced a new 16-day Safari and the Seychelles itinerary, available to book now with departures from December 2024 to February 2025.

The journey will take place aboard the 100-guest Emerald Azzurra yacht and combines a safari in Kenya with a Seychelles cruise.

The safari includes two nights at the Samburu Game Reserve; three guided safari drives to spot elephants, giraffes, Somali ostriches, Grevy’s zebra, lions, warthogs, impala, leopards and the endangered black and white rhinos; an overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru National Park; a stop at Thomson Falls; three nights at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve; a visit to a Maasai village; and an optional hot air balloon ride.

Following the safari, the Emerald Azzurra will head to the Seychelles along the Indian Ocean, where guests can visit Sainte Anne Island, encircled by a marine national park and home to more than 150 species of fish, and Cousin Island, a haven for rare magpie robins.

The voyage will also stop at Curieuse, an island with pristine wilderness, and Praslin, known for its coral and marine life.  

The Emerald Azzurra yacht features spacious, modern staterooms, an open-air infinity pool and a wellness deck complete with a spa, infrared sauna and gym.

Onboard restaurant La Cucina offers fresh, seasonal cuisine with terrace and indoor seating options, and Amici Lounge has a friendly atmosphere for socializing with live music.

When anchored, guests can participate in water-based activities, using kayaks, paddleboards and snorkeling equipment, among others.
