Crystal River Cruises welcomes its latest ship

Crystal Debussy has officially joined Crystal River Cruises’ fleet following a handover ceremony in Wismar, Germany. The vessel, which was delivered to Crystal’s president and CEO Tom Wolber, marks the cruise line’s fourth luxury river ship since its river experiences were launched in 2016.

The 106-guest ship is to travel along the Rhine River, with her maiden voyage set to commence from Amsterdam on April 9, 2018. The seven-day itinerary will also see stops in the Netherlands and Belgium, with 10-day voyages calling in Germany.

Seven- and 10-day routes will be sailed throughout 2018 and 2019 between Amsterdam and Basel along the Rhine and Moselle rivers, taking in visits to Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.

“We look forward to welcoming Crystal Debussy to our river fleet as we continue to expand Crystal’s hallmark brand of luxury to the river cruising industry,” said Wolber.

“She will debut next month with the same superior onboard amenities, caring service, world-class dining, complimentary experiences ashore, and highly-sought-after itineraries that our guess have enjoyed onboard all of our river vessels.”

Next month, Crystal is set to welcome its next ship, Crystal Ravel, to the fleet.
