Crystal expands Wellness at Sea program with four themed voyages
(Crystal)

Crystal is expanding its Wellness at Sea program in 2027 with four new specialty cruises that will pair guests with leading experts in nutrition, fitness, mindfulness and healthy aging.

The luxury cruise line announced Wednesday (July 8) that the new retreats, curated by Crystal Wellness Ambassador and Culinary Nutritionist Dalila Roglieri, will take place aboard both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity on itineraries spanning the Atlantic, Caribbean and North America.

"Wellness is deeply personal, which is why every Wellness at Sea retreat is designed to offer a variety of perspectives and practices that support each guest's individual journey,” said Roglieri in a press release.

“From movement and nutrition to mindfulness and connection, these voyages bring together an exceptional group of specialists dedicated to helping guests invest in their wellbeing at sea and long after the journey ends.

Each sailing is built around four wellness pillars: culinary nutrition, physical activity, mental wellbeing and longevity science.

Guests will have access to nutrition consultations, cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, yoga, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, sound healing and lectures focused on healthy aging.

2027 lineup

The 2027 lineup begins with a transatlantic sailing aboard Crystal Symphony from Fort Lauderdale to Las Palmas, Canary Islands, from March 20 to April 2.

The voyage will focus on building long-term healthy habits through fitness, nutrition and mindfulness programming, alongside lectures covering topics such as bone health and healthy aging.

A second retreat, sailing aboard Crystal Serenity from Panama to New York between Aug. 20 and Sept. 3, will introduce an expanded pickleball program led by fitness specialist and pickleball player Kat Valos.

Designed for players of all skill levels, the experience will include on-court instruction, off-court conditioning and an onboard tournament, in addition to yoga, strength training, sound healing and nutrition workshops.

Valos will return for a Caribbean sailing from New York to San Juan from Oct. 12 to 21, where guests will again be able to participate in pickleball clinics alongside a broader schedule of wellness activities, including Pilates, meditation, culinary workshops and longevity-focused educational sessions.

The final retreat of the year will take place aboard Crystal Symphony on a transatlantic voyage from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale from Nov. 8 to 22.

That sailing will explore the relationship between food, wine and wellbeing through mindful wine tastings, food pairing discussions and sensory workshops led by Wendy Narby of Bordeaux Experts, complemented by yoga, fitness classes and nutrition programming.

Crystal said the retreats will feature a rotating roster of wellness professionals, including yoga instructors, fitness trainers, sound healers, dance specialists, culinary nutrition experts and physical therapists.
