CroisiEurope is sailing into Egypt with the introduction of a brand-new Nile cruise aboard the fully-chartered RV Star of Luxor.
The new seven-night Cruise on The Nile: The Land of the Pharaohs itinerary is round trip from Luxor and promises “exciting, spectacular and unforgettable discoveries,” including temples, tombs, pyramids and villages along the Nile Valley landscapes.
Highlights include visits to Karnak Temple Complex, the Temple of Horus, the Temple of Kom Ombo, the Philae Temple Complex and The Aswan Dam.
The voyage also includes a local boat tour between the granite islands and natural reserves, passing close to the island of Elephantine and an optional excursion to the rock temples of Abu Simbel, which was built by King Ramses II
Once the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo has officially opened, CroisiEurope will offer a four-day optional pre-cruise program featuring historic Cairo and its Coptic district, discovery of the Giza Plateau with its pyramids and the Sphinx, the Pyramid of Cheops, the Saqqara necropolis with its entrance to the Pyramid of Teti and entry to the museum.
Operating between March and December 2025 and February and December 2026, the cruise takes place on the RV Star of Luxor, a “stylish and comfortable ship” that can accommodate 106 guests in 45 exterior cabins and eight spacious suites, the cruise line says.
There is also a restaurant, a lounge/bar, a library and a large sun deck with plenty of sun loungers as well as a swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
On board, guests will enjoy full board with beer, wine and soft drinks during meals, an Egyptologist lecturer and traditional Egyptian entertainment.
To celebrate the launch of this cruise, CroisiEurope is offering savings of $572 per person on select departures between March and December 2025 if booked before 30th April 2025.
Prices from $1,523 per person for the cruise with all meals, drinks with lunch a dinner, excursions, port fees and repatriation insurance. The ship is also available for charter.
