Changes at Carnival's business development team for agents
Carnival Cruise Line has made changes to its business development team for travel agents in North America, including incremental sales leadership support and a new business development territory.
As part of the changes, Justin French will become regional vice president, Canada and Northern U.S., who will bring his sales leadership presence to key metropolitan markets in the Northern U.S. French will also maintain his current role managing Canada and will continue to be based in Toronto.
Given French’s expanded role in North America, his responsibilities in managing Carnival’s international business will move to Iain Baillie, who is now vice-president of U.K. and international sales. Baillie will continue to be based in the line’s London office.
Carnival is also announcing expanded business development support with the addition of a new sales territory in the upper Midwest of the U.S. Tom Panici, a 30-year Carnival veteran will move from his role in Charter, Meeting and Incentive sales to become business development director, Upper Midwest, focusing solely on travel agent engagement and will report directly to French.
“Our goal is to reach as many agents as we can by offering them the best and most trusted sales support,” said Carnival’s Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez. “These team enhancements allow us to work more closely with a significant number of agents and we look forward to the expertise these long time travel industry veterans will bring to these new markets.”
