Celebrity Apex will soon be a part of the Edge series

Celebrity Cruises has cut the first piece of steel on its newest ship, Celebrity Apex, at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard (formerly STX France) in Saint-Nazaire, France.

When completed, Celebrity Apex will be the second ship in Celebrity's revolutionary Edge series.

Coming spring 2020

Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises, who attended the ceremony accompanied by her leadership team, said:

Celebrity Apex is expected to make her debut in spring 2020, with the third and fourth Edge series ships arriving in fall 2021 and fall 2022, respectively.
