Carnival Cruise Line has announced new 2027/28 sailings, highlighted by the addition of a second ship in Baltimore and updated deployment plans for Carnival Firenze.

For the first time, Carnival will homeport two ships in Baltimore.

Beginning fall 2027, Carnival Miracle will join Carnival Pride, giving the line two Spirit-class ships sailing from the port.

Carnival Miracle will operate seven-, eight- and nine-day itineraries to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean, along with 12- and 14-day Carnival Journeys sailings to destinations including Dominica, Guadeloupe and St. Maarten, among others.

The ship is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on Nov. 20, 2027, after a 15-day transatlantic voyage from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy.

“Baltimore has been an important homeport for Carnival for more than two decades, and we’re excited to continue building on our year-round operations with the addition of Carnival Miracle,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“By giving our guests more variety in itineraries and ships, we’re giving them more reasons to take a Carnival Cruise vacation.”

Carnival Pride will continue year-round Baltimore service, including seven-day sailings to the Bahamas and Bermuda, plus nine-, 12- and 14-day Carnival Journeys itineraries to destinations such as Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua, Tortola and Martinique.

Beginning fall 2027, Carnival Firenze will make Port Canaveral its homeport, operating four- to 14-day Caribbean itineraries.

Carnival says the schedule will include shorter Bahamas sailings featuring Celebration Key—its private destination on Grand Bahama—as well as longer Eastern Caribbean voyages and Carnival Journeys itineraries to the Southern Caribbean.

In addition to previously announced sailings from Miami through mid-May 2027, Carnival Firenze’s updated 2027/28 plan includes a one-time 11-day Carnival Journeys Southern Caribbean sailing departing Miami on May 16, 2027, before the ship repositions to New York City.

That voyage will visit Celebration Key, Aruba, Curaçao and St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands).

Carnival Firenze will then operate seasonal summer 2028 sailings from New York, before returning to Port Canaveral for its ongoing year-round program.
