Canadians win big at MSC Cruises' True Partnerships Awards

MSC Cruises announced the Canadian winners of its sixth annual MSC True Partnerships’ Awards this week.

“2018 proved to be MSC Cruises’ best year yet in Canada as we introduced another mega ship MSC Seaview,” said Ian Patterson, director of business development for MSC Cruises in Canada, stated.

“Our dedicated partners in Canada have been integral to our expansion and continued success, and we’re thrilled to applaud their hard work and continued support as we introduce another two ships this year, MSC Bellissima, which recently launched this March, and MSC Grandiosa, launching in November.”

The 2018 MSC True Partnerships’ Awards are presented to MSC Cruises’ top performing North American travel partners for the year based on overall business growth in revenue and guests and continuous partnership support and innovative marketing efforts that drive increased consumer awareness.

Canadian Tour Operator Partner of the Year - TravelBrands

Travel Agent Partner of the Year, Western and Central Canada - Pacific National Travels

Travel Agent Partner Ontario - UCruising of Unionville

Travel Agent Partner Quebec and Atlantic Canada - Expedia Cruiseshipcenters, Laval

MSC Cruises will expand its current fleet of 16 ships to 29 ships by 2027, spending an upwards of $15.6 billion USD.

By the end of 2019, MSC Cruises will have four ships sailing from Miami — MSC Seaside, MSC Divina, MSC Armonia and MSC Meraviglia.
