Back to the Future musical to debut on Star of the Seas

Royal Caribbean has revealed that Back to the Future: The Musical will be its featured stage show on its newest ship, Star of the Seas, debuting in August 2025. 

The company's entertainment team is working alongside the musical’s original creative team to bring the musical to the Royal Theatre stage on Star. After two successful weeks of auditions in London and NYC, the team will begin rehearsals in the next year.  

The Olivier Award-winning musical has already been lighting up stages on Broadway, the West End and beyond. 

Star of the Seas is the newest vacation from Royal Caribbean offering a lineup of experiences from adrenaline-pumping thrills at Thrill Island and new ways to chill at Chill Island and the exclusive Suite Neighborhood. 

The ship will offer 7-night vacations from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida to destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
