Atlas unveils suite details for upcoming expedition sailing yacht

Atlas Ocean Voyages has revealed details of the suite collection for Atlas Adventurer, a new luxury expedition sailing yacht set to launch in 2028.

The ship will feature an all-suite design, with accommodations divided into three categories: Signature, Concierge and Reserve collections. 

Reservations open to the public on June 10.

The yacht will offer 98 suites in the Signature Collection, 72 in the Concierge Collection and 30 in the higher-end Reserve Collection.

Top-tier options include two-bedroom Owner's Suites measuring 1,385 square feet and Penthouse Suites at 565 square feet. Some suites can be connected to create larger, multi-room layouts.

"Atlas Adventurer represents a pivotal step forward for our brand and for expedition travel," said James A. Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. 

"Our continued collaboration with Oitoemponto allows us to create an experience that balances the heritage of ocean travel with the expectations of today's guest, intimate in scale, advanced in design, and grounded in environmental responsibility."

The yacht's interiors are being developed by Portuguese design studio Oitoemponto, founded by Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec, with a concept influenced by the elegance of 1930s ocean liners interpreted through a contemporary lens.

Atlas Adventurer will accommodate up to 400 guests and feature a hybrid propulsion system designed to reduce emissions, including dual-fuel engines, battery power and sail-assisted technology.

The vessel will also include stabilizers for improved comfort and an ice-class hull, allowing it to operate in polar regions.

Reservations for Atlas Yacht Club members open May 20, with general bookings beginning June 10.
