Atlas Ocean Voyages has opened bookings for its 2028 Arctic season, featuring 13 itineraries ranging from seven to 17 nights across Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland and the Canadian Arctic.

The voyages will operate aboard World Navigator and World Voyager.

According to the cruise line, select departures will include complimentary charter flights from Oslo and Toronto for sailings departing from Longyearbyen, Svalbard and Churchill, Manitoba

A pre-expedition hotel night is also included on those voyages.

Atlas is also introducing a new “Explorer’s Choice” offer, allowing guests to choose one complimentary amenity, including an air credit of up to $1,500 per suite, unlimited Wi-Fi or a pre-expedition hotel stay.

Guests booked in the Reserve Collection can select two amenities.

The season includes itineraries in Svalbard, Greenland and Eastern Canada, with expedition programming focused on Zodiac safaris, guided landings and cultural experiences in remote Arctic communities.

In Svalbard, guests can participate in the “Life in the Arctic” immersive experience, which includes visits to the Global Seed Vault and historic mining sites.

Greenland itineraries may also include stops in remote communities such as Ittoqqortoormiit.

The Canadian Arctic program includes voyages exploring Disko Bay, Nunavut and Labrador, with wildlife viewing opportunities that may include beluga whales, polar bears, Arctic foxes, seabirds and walrus colonies.

“Our 2028 Arctic season reflects a deliberate expansion of our Arctic expedition portfolio, offering guests more choice, more depth and more ways to explore the polar regions,” said James A. Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages.

“By focusing on Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland and Eastern Canada, we’ve created a diverse and dynamic range of itineraries spanning 7 to 17 nights, ensuring there is an Arctic experience suited to every explorer’s sense of discovery.”
