AmaWaterways outlines 2026 onboard upgrades across fleet
AmaWaterways is making a round of onboard updates for the 2026 season, with changes rolling out across accommodations, dining and onboard amenities.

“Our guests will enjoy an elevated onboard experience, from dining and amenities to specially curated experiences across the fleet. As we grow, we remain focused on ensuring every journey remains unforgettable and true to what makes us unique, while continually raising the bar for those who travel with us.”
What’s changing onboard
AmaWaterways says upgrades include refreshed exterior paintwork, plus new in-cabin and bathroom touches such as plush linens, bathrobes and slippers.
The line is also adding luxury and sustainable bathroom amenities from Marie-Stella-Maris, and says it has a new partnership with Laura Geller, with skincare and makeup available in the onboard gift shop.
On the culinary side, AmaWaterways says it’s introducing new Italian lunches in the Chef’s Table restaurants on most ships.
Signature dinners by culinary director chef Robert Kellerhals will be featured onboard.
AmaWaterways is also renaming its onboard lounges to The Lark, where it says guests will find refreshments throughout the day, along with a new “Savor at The Lark” all-day menu.
Other food additions include a new bread program with multiple freshly baked varieties daily, plus snack jars stocked with house-made protein balls and muesli bars, dried fruit, nuts and freshly baked cookies.
AmaWaterways says it’s expanding its included wine lineup to more than 30 red, white and rosé wines per sailing, with additional premium bottles available for purchase.
On select itineraries, the line says it will continue working with regional chocolatiers to provide locally inspired confections delivered to staterooms.
Along the Danube, Ama highlighted third-generation chocolatier Johannes Bachhalm, who the company notes is recognized by the Gault & Millau guide.
The cruise line also says guests will now have complimentary soft drinks available throughout the day on most European ships.
Standard inclusions
Cruises include accommodations, onboard meals, wine and beer with lunch and dinner plus the Sip and Sail cocktail hour, up to six shore excursion options in each port led by local guides, complimentary Wi-Fi, and the services of a cruise manager.
