TRAVELSAVERS CANADA forges ahead with new partnerships, tech upgrades
TRAVELSAVERS CANADA is forging ahead with new luxury, accommodation and adventure cruise partners, along with upgrades to its Cruise Value Incentive Program.
“We’re noticing an increasing amount of Canadians prioritizing travel with immersive experiences, luxury accommodations and guided adventures,” stated Jane Clementino, senior vice-president and general manager of TRAVELSAVERS CANADA, in a press release. “Ensuring that travel advisors in our network have the tools they need to prosper in the marketplace remains one of our guiding principles.”
The updates were shared with more than 170 affiliate owners and managers at an Owners’ Retreat conference from April 27-29 in Montreal, where positive projections and trends in the industry were shared.
New partnerships are at the centre of the company’s strategy.
“The diverse range of partners within TRAVELSAVERS CANADA’s network allows agencies to maximize their commissions and ensures remarkable sales growth for their business,” stated Clementino.
Additionally, TRAVELSAVERS’ Cruise Value Incentive Program now includes personalized supplier offerings, such as flexible sailing dates, value-added amenities and customized experiences through 2025.
As a result, advisors are able to guarantee exclusive access to their clients when booking in advance to get what they want when they want it, with extensive offerings and add-ons.
The move comes as cruise bookings, including exotic once-in-a-lifetime voyages, see "dramatic increases" from last year, the company says.
Now trending
TRAVELSAVERS says travellers are booking longer stays as they combine remote work and travel. Private home rentals for longer trips are growing as well, the company says.
As well, growth in family travel is outpacing the market in general, with celebration and multigenerational trips strong.
TRAVELSAVERS CANADA says it is also investing in tech upgrades, including enhancements to OnlineXpress, to increase effectiveness and sales for its advisors.
