NYC Broadway week: 2-for-1 tickets on sale for 24 shows
New York City Tourism + Conventions has launched NYC Broadway Week 2-for-1 tickets here, featuring 24 shows, with performances running from Monday, September 8, through Sunday, September 21.
The twice-yearly program invites audiences to experience Broadway at a value, making NYC’s theatre more accessible.
“NYC Broadway Week is a celebrated tradition in our city, providing visitors with access to world-class productions found nowhere else in the world,” said Julie Coker, president and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions, in a press release. “Since its inception in 2011, the program has provided significant support to New York City’s dynamic Broadway theater industry, generating over $196 million in revenue.”
“From groundbreaking musicals to timeless classics, Broadway is the heartbeat of New York City, and with NYC Broadway Week, we are, once again, making sure that more New Yorkers and visitors can enjoy the magic of the stage,” added New York City Mayor Eric Adams. “This year, NYC Broadway Week takes on extra significance, too, during the 400th anniversary of the greatest city in the world. As we mark four centuries of New York City history, our ‘Founded By NYC’ campaign is providing the perfect moment for all to catch a show, support our artists, and enjoy the city’s legendary Theater District.”
