Jerne celebrates travel advisors hitting $1B in verified sales

Jerne – a platform that connects some 8,500 travel curators with hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, restaurants, spas and experiential products – says its travel advisor members in 15 countries have produced more than US$1B in annual verified sales across their individual travel agencies.

“Congratulations to all advisors, each averaging over US$3 million in annual sales for their travel agencies, who have achieved the ‘verified’ recognition status within Jerne,” said Jeff Sirota, chief commercial officer of Jerne, in a press release. “We and our experience provider partners are pleased to welcome these exceptional travel advisors to access a variety of hosted experience opportunities around the world to further support their sales efforts.”

In building out its travel advisor community, Jerne acquired The 1000, a club for influential travel advisors, in early 2024.

Since that time, the company has awarded further verified-level recognition to dozens of travel advisors meeting the US$1.5M threshold of annual production, in addition to welcoming hundreds of approved-level travel advisors who do not meet that criteria or who have chosen not to receive verification of their production.

Jerne also recently recognized 32 Liberty Travel advisors with its “The 1000” verified status as top selling travel advisors around the world 

“According to our survey results of hundreds of top travel advisors, their number one priority is being able to experience products that they can share with their top clients and their number two priority is being able to spend more time building relationship with representatives of those products,” said Sirota. “We’re pleased to be able to assist them with both of those opportunities which sets in motion a cycle of growth for their business, their agency, and their suppliers.”

Using Jerne’s verification process and proprietary matching technology, verified-level travel advisors receive preferred access to event invitations and familiarization opportunities across the company’s more than 300 experience provider partners in over 60 countries – covering hotel, ocean cruise, river cruise, tour, restaurant, and spa opportunities.

Jerne’s provider partners are able to use the platform to fully-manage vetting, invitations, applications, and marketing opportunities related to hosted travel advisors either at their own regional events or in-destination at the experiences themselves.
