Host Agency Reviews launches 2026 advisor survey
Host Agency Reviews (HAR) has officially launched its 2026 Travel Advisor Survey, which is open to travel advisors in Canada and the United States through June 30, 2026.
“HAR has always been built around listening to travel advisors and turning what we learn into resources the industry can actually use," said Steph Lee, founder of Host Agency Reviews, in a press release.
"Now in its 11th year, this survey is one of the clearest examples of that mission. It helps us move beyond anecdotes and create data advisors, agencies, and partners can use to make smarter decisions.”
Each year, HAR’s Travel Advisor Survey collects advisor responses on key areas of the travel business, including income, sales, fees, bookings, business models, host agency relationships, technology usage, industry outlook, and more.
Nearly 4,000 advisors completed HAR's survey last year. The results create HAR’s annual travel advisor research report, one of the most widely referenced data resources in the travel advisor space.
"Too many conversations about travel advisors happen without travel advisors in the room," stated Jenn Myers, HAR's marketing and partnerships manager. "This survey is one way we can change that. We’re asking advisors directly about their businesses, their challenges, their income, their tools, and their outlook so the final report reflects real experience - not assumptions.”
For 2026, HAR made meaningful updates to the survey experience to make it clearer, easier to follow, and more useful for reporting.
These updates are designed to help advisors share their experience more efficiently while improving the quality of the final report.
“We are fully aware that ‘take our survey’ is not the most glamorous invitation in travel,” said Shayna Zand, HAR managing director. “But this is one of those rare surveys where your answers actually go somewhere useful. Advisor responses turn into real industry data, and that data helps the industry move past guesswork, better understand the advisor landscape, and make more informed decisions.”
The survey is open to Canadian and U.S.-based travel advisors across business models, including hosted advisors, independent advisors, franchise owners, and employee advisors.
Qualified participants who complete the survey will receive a complimentary copy of the final report once it is published.
