Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will temporarily close for two weeks due to COVID-19 concerns, with closures effective March 14 and March 16 respectively.
In a statement, Universal said that it will continue to monitor the situation closely and reassess the reopening at the end of the month.
Universal Orlando’s hotels and the Universal CityWalk, found at Orlando and Hollywood, will remain open.
The closures follow an announcement by Disney yesterday that all of its global theme parks and Disney Cruise Line would temporarily suspend operation.
