TRAVELSAVERS CANADA is continuing to expand in the Canadian marketplace and build its management team.

Clare Burke has been appointed as manager of marketing, according to a press release issued today (July 27).

With a career that spans over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, Burke brings a highly organized, detail-oriented work ethic to the team.

She is known for her “can-do” attitude with a dedication to helping businesses and partners succeed in a constantly evolving industry.

“Clare's adaptability and wealth of knowledge as a travel professional is a force to be reckoned with,” said Jane Clementino, senior vice president and general manager, TRAVELSAVERS CANADA.

“Clare’s passion to spark innovation and ignite brand awareness in the Canadian marketplace is exactly what we need to help our agency partners accelerate their sales and revenue. We cannot wait to see her in action.”

Burke will play a key role in the expansion of the TRAVELSAVERS network of travel advisors and preferred partners through marketing products and networking events.

Previously, Burke served at Ensemble Travel Group for 13 years, specializing in network care and event management.

“We are elated to be growing our team with the best of the best in the travel industry,” said Clementino.

“During Clare’s first couple of weeks, she has already brought brilliant ideas to the table to allow TRAVELSAVERS CANADA to tap into the potential of the travel industry.”

After falling in love with the travel industry in high school, Burke wanted to turn her personal passion into her career.

“I am a strong believer in the quote from Confucius: choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life,” she said.

“I have been waiting for an opportunity that could incorporate my industry knowledge, especially at the consortia level, and this position feels like the perfect fit for me. I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and making new connections.”
