Black Friday roundup: travel deals that can save your clients money

Black Friday — the unofficial start of holiday shopping — has already arrived in travel.

Ahead of Friday, Nov. 28, suppliers have begun releasing limited-time offers across select itineraries and products. 

There’s a lot landing at once, so here’s a look at the latest promotions – including deals for Cyber Monday (Dec. 1) and Travel Tuesday (Dec. 2) – that have crossed our news desk so far.

Air Canada Vacations

Brendan Vacations

Brendan Vacations are giving guests savings of up to CAD$1,900 per person on the brand's most popular guided tours in Ireland and Scotland from November 3-December 4, 2025.  

Travellers can save on signature itineraries, including Best of Ireland, Castles and Manors and premium itineraries Britain and Ireland Discovery and Irish Elegance.

The new Small Group Tour itineraries will also be on sale with savings of up to CAD$1,400 per person.

Travellers can also save up to CAD$800 per person on private driver, luxury self-drive, self-drive and rail vacations for travel in 2026.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises has announced its Black Friday promotion, running Nov. 6–Dec. 8.

Travellers can save up to 75% off the second guest in a stateroom. 

An additional savings offer of up to $700 per booking is available through Nov. 10. 

Eligible sailings depart now through May 10, 2028.

Eligible departures range from Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings on the new Celebrity Xcel to Alaska on Celebrity Solstice, as well as Japan itineraries with overnight calls in cities including Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe and Aomori. 

Galapagos and Celebrity River Cruises are excluded.

Celestyal 

Celestyal has savings of up to 70% on 113 sailings departing between December 2025 and October 2027.

Club Med 

Book now through Dec. 1 for travel between Dec. 6, 2025 and June 19, 2026, and get up to 50% off stays at select Club Med resorts, including Punta Cana, Michès Playa Esmeralda, Cancún, Ixtapa, Québec Charlevoix, Columbus Isle, La Caravelle, and Buccaneer’s Creek. 

The offer also features up to $500 in instant savings per person, per week, plus free stays for children under four.

Contiki

Contiki has announced details of its Black Friday sale, which will run Nov. 12–Dec. 4, 2025, with an Early Access window Nov. 4–11 for those who sign up in advance.

Travellers can expect discounts on more than 150 itineraries worldwide, with savings of up to CAD $1,200 on select trips. 

During the main sale period, Contiki will also release limited-time “drops” on specific itineraries and departure dates at 50% off. 

Examples of trips included in the promotion range from Japan Unrivalled to Scotland and Ireland, Victoria Falls and Botswana, Albania Beaches and Peaks and Portugal Highlights.

Cunard has launched its Black Friday Sales Event, running November 12 through December 8, 2025. 

The promotion includes fares from $899 (up to 40% off), up to $300 onboard credit and reduced deposits of 50% across 145 voyages. 

Guests booking Grill Suites on Caribbean voyages aboard Queen Elizabeth will receive complimentary Hotel & Dining Service Charges.

Twelve discounted trips will be released weekly between October 15 and December 2, with limited fare availability.

Hurtigruten

Hurtigruten has launched its Black Friday Sale, running through December 3, 2025. 

Travel advisors received exclusive five-day early access before the offer became available to consumers on November 17, 2025.

The sale includes up to 50% off Coastal Express itineraries (12-day roundtrip, seven-day Northbound, or six-day Southbound voyages) on departures from December 2025 through October 2026. 

The travel period has been extended compared to previous years.

Signature Voyages, the line's premium all-inclusive product introduced in 2023, are included with savings of up to 25%. 

The North Cape Line is available for travel between January and April 2026, while the Svalbard Line is available for travel between June and September 2026. 

Due to demand, Hurtigruten will double next summer's Svalbard Line departures by adding a second Signature-class ship.

Holland America Line

Holland America has launched a Black Friday presale offering early access to its seasonal promotion.

Travellers who sign up on HollandAmerica.com will receive a code for presale access running from Nov. 12-19, before the sale opens to the public Nov. 20. 

The Black Friday offer runs through Dec. 4, 2025.

Available on most cruises sailing from December 2025 through October 2027, the sale includes up to 30% off cruise fares, free prepaid crew appreciation, 50% reduced deposits and free or reduced third and fourth guests when travelling in the same stateroom. 

The free prepaid crew appreciation represents savings of more than $175 per person depending on stateroom category and cruise length.

The Black Friday offer can be combined with Holland America Line's "Have It All" premium fare, which adds four amenities: shore excursions, specialty dining, Wi-Fi and a beverage package.

Icelandair is promoting discounted fares to Iceland for Canadians looking to experience the Northern Lights season.

The airline is offering round-trip tickets from Canada to Iceland starting at $498 CAD for travel between January 1 and May 31, 2025. 

The promotion is available for bookings made before December 2.

Iceland's Northern Lights season runs from October through spring, with the sparsely populated countryside providing optimal dark sky viewing conditions.

Riviera Travel has Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions available for a limited time.

From Nov. 17 to Dec. 5, travellers can reserve river cruises starting at $1,999. 

Added perks include complimentary onboard credit on all 2026 sailings, unlimited drinks on 2026 and 2027 departures and exclusive benefits for solo travellers.

The company is also introducing a new incentive for travel advisors. 

Through Nov. 30, advisors in the U.S. and Canada can earn up to $600 per booked cabin in Visa or Mastercard digital gift cards on new 2026 and 2027 reservations.

Rewards are tiered and cumulative—for instance, booking 15 cabins earns a total of $4,000.

Rocky Mountaineer

Rocky Mountaineer is offering Black Friday discounts on 2026 journeys, available for booking through December 4.

The promotion offers $350 CAD off per person for GoldLeaf Service rail-only bookings and $250 CAD off per person for SilverLeaf Service rail-only bookings. 

The discount applies to all two- or three-day rail journeys in 2026.

For package bookings, GoldLeaf Service is discounted $500 CAD per person and SilverLeaf Service is discounted $350 CAD per person. 

This applies to all 2026 packages excluding two- or three-day rail journeys and select packages.

Eligible routes include Passage to the Peaks (available summer 2026 only), First Passage to the West, Rainforest to Gold Rush and Journey through the Clouds.

Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean has outlined its Black Friday promotion, running Nov. 7–Dec. 8, 2025.

Travellers can access up to US$1,000 off cruise fares, with third and fourth guests sailing free in the same stateroom on select departures. 

Deals apply across a range of ships, including Star of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas from Port Canaveral and Icon of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas from Miami, as well as additional ships in the Caribbean, Europe and Alaska.

Select onboard extras — such as drink packages, internet and excursions — may be discounted up to 50% during the sale period.

A Black Friday–only “All-In Package” will also be available, bundling beverage, specialty dining and streaming Wi-Fi inclusions, with pricing varying by itinerary. 

For Nassau, the package will include a day pass to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, opening this December.

Select short sailings (two to four nights) will start at US$249 per person for first and second guests.

In a separate offer, beginning Oct. 28, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises will promote a 35,000-bonus-points online offer on their Visa Signature® cards, tied to a minimum spend requirement within 90 days of account opening.

Scenic Group Canada has rolled out its annual Black Friday sale, giving Canadian travellers discounted access to 2026 river, ocean and yacht sailings with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises & Tours.

The promotion—running until Dec. 5, 2025—includes savings of up to 40% on Europe river cruises (Portugal excluded), as well as business class or premium economy airfare offers on select Scenic Eclipse voyages.

Sunwing Vacations

Sunwing Vacations has introduced a pre-Black Friday promotion offering savings of up to 36% on all-inclusive packages to the Dominican Republic for travel through April 30, 2026.

The sale runs until November 23, 2025 and applies to destinations throughout the Dominican Republic, including Punta Cana, Samaná and Puerto Plata. 

The promotion aims to capture early winter bookings as Canadians seek Caribbean destinations during the colder months.

The Dominican Republic remains among the top destinations for Canadian travellers, with accessibility from over 20 Canadian airports via Sunwing's direct flight network. 

The tour operator has recently added new direct service to Samaná, expanding options beyond traditional hubs like Punta Cana.

Swan Hellenic

Swan Hellenic has introduced a Black Friday promotion offering reduced fares and US$1,000 in onboard credit per stateroom on select expedition voyages.

The offer applies to 36 departures ranging from six to 20 nights, with sailings scheduled between March 5, 2026 and July 29, 2027. 

Itineraries span destinations including the Arctic, Antarctica, Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America across the line's three expedition vessels.

Balcony and Ocean View staterooms are eligible for the promotion, with stateroom reductions of up to US$1,700 per person in double occupancy. 

Combined with the onboard credit, the total value reaches up to US$4,400 per couple.

Bookings must be completed between November 17 and December 2, 2025. The cruise line has not placed restrictions on the number of voyages guests can book under the promotion.

Offer-inclusive fares start from US$3,430 per person.

The promotion covers departures across Swan Hellenic's expedition fleet, allowing travellers to combine multiple voyages during the booking window.

Transat and Air Transat have kicked off their Black Friday promotions, offering discounted fares and savings on all-inclusive packages. 

Air Transat is reducing prices on flights to Europe, Morocco, the South and Florida for bookings made by Nov. 30, 2025.

On the vacation side, Transat is offering up to $2,500 off for two people on all-inclusive packages to the South and Europe, with one checked bag and one carry-on included. 

Travellers can also save up to 50% on Option Flex Standard, which provides flexibility to modify, transfer or cancel. 

Package bookings must be made by Nov. 23, 2025.
