TRAVELSAVERS Canada appoints Karen Fine as sr. business analyst
TRAVELSAVERS Canada has appointed Karen Fine as a senior business analyst, according to a press release shared Friday (Jan. 9).
Fine, formally of Flight Centre Travel Group, brings more than 17 years of experience in the travel industry, spanning frontline sales, retail leadership, luxury travel, and operational management.
In past senior leadership roles, she oversaw high-volume operations, exceeded sales targets, and focused on performance optimization, client retention, and data-informed decision-making, the company said.
TRAVELSAVERS Canada’s Business Analyst team works closely with travel agencies, offering customized insights to enhance their success.
As a senior analyst, Fine will analyze advisor performance, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into strategies agencies can implement easily.
She will also support Canadian travel advisors as they navigate rising costs, shifting consumer expectations, and increased competition in the marketplace, said the consortium.
“Karen’s appointment reflects our ongoing investment in strengthening the counsel we provide to our advisors,” said Jane Clementino, senior vice president and general manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada, in a statement. “She brings a rare combination of analytical expertise and firsthand advisor experience, allowing her to deliver insights that are not only meaningful, but truly actionable.”
Fine looks forward to helping travel agencies improve their profitability.
“Advisors are being asked to do more than ever, and having clarity around where to focus their
time and efforts is critical,” said Fine in a statement. “My goal is to help agencies take a bird’s-eye view of their business, identify areas for growth, and confidently leverage TRAVELSAVERS programs in ways that support real, measurable results.”
Fine’s appointment supports TRAVELSAVERS Canada’s continued growth. Since 2023, the network says it has added 120 new agencies and generated preferred partner sales of $175 million.
