Samantha Gillingham joins Bedsonline as key account manager

Seasoned travel pro Samantha Gillingham has joined Bedsonline as a key account manager, according to updates that were shared to social media recently.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Bedsonline team! I’m looking forward to collaborating with our incredible travel partners across Eastern Canada and bringing my passion and experience in the Canadian travel market to this new chapter,” Gillingham wrote on Facebook on Tuesday (July 1).

“To all the amazing travel advisors out there — I can’t wait to reconnect, hit the road, and work alongside you to help grow your business and inspire your clients. Being back out in the field is exactly where I want to be, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead! Let’s make magic happen!”

Tommy Ryder, regional director of sales for North America at Bedsonline HBX Group, welcomed Gillingham to the team in a Facebook post of his own.

“Looking forward to partnering with you to support our travel agencies and agents in Eastern Canada,” Ryder wrote. “Sam joins us with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Canadian travel market.”

Gillingham joins Bedsonline after serving as director of sales and business development at Jayne’s Luxury Rentals, a cottage rental and concierge service company. Before that, she was a business development manager at Club Med, a manager of group sales at Sunwing and a corporate sales manager at Jet Airways.

Her experience also includes a range of positions at Flight Centre Travel Group and Transat.

The update comes as Bedsonline promotes “The Luxurist,” a new premium platform designed exclusively for luxury travel pros.

Now available in Canada, the platform leverages innovative technology to connect travel advisors with global hotel properties via a seamless interface designed exclusively for luxury.
