TTI Travel Canada has appointed Paul Georgopoulos as senior director of strategic client partnerships as the company looks to strengthen its corporate travel business and expand its client portfolio.

Georgopoulos will report to Lucy LaVigna, vice-president of travel services, and focus on strategic business development and building relationships with organizations seeking customized travel-management solutions.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate travel, strategic sales, business development and client relationship management.

Georgopoulos joins TTI following a long career with American Express Global Business Travel, where he developed client relationships and worked with organizations to support their evolving travel-program needs.

In his new position, Georgopoulos will work alongside TTI’s leadership and sales teams to develop new business opportunities and showcase the company’s combination of personalized Canadian service and global travel-management capabilities.

“Paul is a highly respected travel professional with an exceptional understanding of the Canadian corporate travel market,” said LaVigna in a press release. “His industry knowledge, consultative approach, and ability to build trusted relationships will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow our corporate network while delivering the personal service our clients value.”

Georgopoulos said TTI’s Canadian roots and approach to client service were among the draws of his new role.

“I am excited to join TTI at such an important point in its growth,” stated Georgopoulos. “TTI’s Canadian heritage, client-first culture, and ability to pair local expertise with global travel management capabilities create a compelling value proposition for organizations. I look forward to working with clients, industry partners and colleagues to build meaningful relationships and support TTI’s continued growth success.”
