Nevis Tourism Authority appoints Shelisia Glasford as dir. VIP & MICE services
The Nevis Tourism Authority as appointed Shelisia T. Glasford as its new director of VIP and MICE services.
This role is dedicated to curating exceptional experiences for high-value guests and positioning Nevis as the premier destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE).
In her new role, Glasford will oversee the planning, coordination and hosting of VIP visits and MICE initiatives, driving strategic partnerships, enhancing destination appeal and delivering hospitality excellence that reflects the warmth and charm of Nevis.
Glasford brings years of progressive leadership experience in the global luxury hospitality sector.
She began her career in 2011 at The St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino. Since then, she has cultivated an international portfolio across Switzerland, the United States and Australia.
Her journey at Park Hyatt St. Kitts included pivotal roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Guest Experiences Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper.
Most recently, she served as Duty Manager at Park Hyatt Sydney, where she refined her expertise in guest relations, operational efficiency and cross-cultural leadership.
Glasford’s educational background spans renowned institutions including César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and Les Roches Spain, with studies focused on International Hospitality Management and International Business in Hotel and Tourism Management.
