Nathalie Bonin exits Iberostar, Melanie Pipunic named BDM for QC, Ottawa & Atlantic Canada

Nathalie Bonin, well-known in the industry as a business development manager for Iberostar, has announced that she has left the hotel group.

Iberostar now invites travel advisors to contact Mariela Zaldivar, BDM Director in Canada, or Melanie Pipunic, who is officially taking over the BDM position for Quebec, the Ottawa region, and Atlantic Canada.

Pipunic has more than twenty years of experience in the travel industry, notably with Transat, Air Canada Vacations, and, more recently, Voyage Vasco.

An automatic response has been set up in Nathalie Bonin's inbox to redirect messages to the appropriate people.

In addition, Pipunic's contact information will soon be added to Iberostar’s travel advisor portal.

"It has been a real pleasure working with each of you over the years!” Bonin wrote in a message that was posted to her Facebook page. “I am grateful for the wonderful collaborations, the trust, and the enriching exchanges we have shared.”

Bonin mentioned that she'll keep her Facebook account active to share updates this fall.

In a separate post, Bonin thanked the many industry members who wrote to her.

"I admit, I shed a few tears reading them! Your messages really touched my heart," she wrote, assuring the industry that "we'll see each other again somewhere this fall!"
