Mathieu Robert joins AmaWaterways as BDM for Quebec & Atlantic Canada

AmaWaterways has appointed Mathieu Robert as business development manager for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, PAX has learned.

In this new role, Robert will support travel advisors and agency partners across the region, helping to strengthen relationships, drive growth, and share the exceptional experiences that define the AmaWaterways brand.

Robert brings a rich background in travel to the position, having begun his career as a travel advisor before moving into sales leadership in the cruise industry. Most recently, he was a sales director for Celebrity Cruises in Quebec. 

“His experience across both frontline advising and cruise sales gives him a strong understanding of the travel advisor community and the evolving needs of today’s travellers,” said the luxury river cruise line in a statement.

Sandra Gardiner, director of sales for Canada at AmaWaterways, said the company is thrilled to welcome Robert to the Ama family and Canadian team.

“His passion for the travel industry, proven sales expertise, and commitment to partner success make him a valuable addition as AmaWaterways continues to grow its presence in Quebec and Atlantic Canada,” Gardiner said in a statement.
