Envoyage Canada is continuing to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of Justin Clarey as its new member support leader, PAX has learned.

Clarey, a familiar face in travel trade circles, joins Envoyage from Transat Holidays, where he most recently worked as an account manager in Ontario.

Before moving into supplier sales, he was an independent travel advisor and agency manager, giving him experience on both sides of the business and a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities advisors face.

In his new role, Clarey will oversee Envoyage Canada's operations team, managing day-to-day member support, operational systems and processes, and the delivery of advisor events.

He will also join the company's Canadian Leadership Team, helping shape the overall member experience across the network.

Gail Banack, vice-president and general manager of Envoyage Canada, said Clarey's industry background and longstanding relationships with advisors made him an ideal choice.

"Community has always been at the heart of Envoyage, and Justin already feels like part of our community," said Banack in a statement. "Many of our members know him, trust him and have worked with him throughout his career.”

“Bringing someone into this role who already has those relationships and genuinely cares about helping advisors was incredibly important to us."

Clarey said the opportunity to support advisors in a meaningful way was what drew him to Envoyage.

"I've been fortunate to see this industry from a few different perspectives, as a travel advisor, working alongside advisors as a BDM, and now joining Envoyage," said Clarey.

"Throughout each role, one thing has always stood out to me: having the right people behind you makes all the difference. I'm excited to work with our operations team to deliver the support our members rely on every day and continue building the strong sense of community that makes Envoyage special."

The appointment reflects Envoyage Canada's “continued focus on enhancing the advisor experience” through stronger operational support, leadership and community, the company said.

The move also comes as Envoyage – Flight Centre Travel Group's independent network for travel professionals – expands its Canadian team and network.

Earlier this month, the company announced the addition of former TravelBrands business development manager Jessica Smid as its new business development manager, underscoring the company's ongoing investment in advisor support.
