Hurtigruten has appointed Jordan Freese as its first-ever group sales and operations manager for North America.

She comes from Incredible Adventures, where she was the general manager, and will be Hurtigruten’s first fully-dedicated resource allocated to groups following the split from HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) in early 2024.

Freese will be working with trade partners, tour operators, and associations. “Jordan joining the Americas team adds a core strength to the team as she brings her tour operator and groups mindset to contribute to both sales and operations,” said Carly Biggart, Hurtigruten’s Head of the Americas, in a press release.

“Additionally, she has experience in sustainable and adventure travel, which is exactly what we focus on. The demand for groups is consistently growing, with Norway being an ideal destination, especially given Hurtigruten’s wide portfolio of not only cruises but also tours that we offer.”

In her role, Freese will strengthen B2B support, “a core focus for us for some time now, and we are seeing great results because of that,” Biggart said.

In a statement, Freese said she has long admired Hurtigruten “for its commitment to meaningful and responsible travel.”

“I’m excited to now be part of a team that’s redefining how people experience the world,” she said. “With my extended background of working with travel operators and partners over the years, I believe I will really add value and help the company grow even further.”
