Hanen Djebari Sequeiros named GM of Enjoy Travel Group Canada

Enjoy Travel Group has announced the appointment of Hanen Djebari Sequeiros as general manager of its Canada office.

A highly-respected professional in the tourism industry, Djebari Sequeiros brings more than 20 years of experience, with a strong track record in negotiation, purchasing, and tourism product development, reads a press release.

“The appointment of Hanen Djebari Sequeiros marks an important milestone in the consolidation of our  strategy in Canada. Her in-depth knowledge of the market, combined with her experience in purchasing  and product development and her comprehensive understanding of the tourism industry, adds  significant value to our management team,” said Luis Jiménez, vice president of international marketing and sales at Enjoy Travel Group, in a statement.

“We are confident that her leadership will play a key role in  strengthening our commercial offering, driving sustainable growth, and further positioning Enjoy Travel Group as a strategic partner of reference in the Canadian market.”

Barcelona-based Enjoy Travel Group, which began operations more than two decades ago (originally under the name Skedio Travel), made its Canadian debut in October 2024.

Since last year, the Canadian arm has concentrated on securing key partnerships with major industry players—from leading hotel brands to tourism boards in destinations such as Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

The company’s key focus in Canada has been on educating the trade.

“We’re stressing that even though we’re new in Canada, our company has been around since 2001,” said Sabrena Dayle, sales, marketing & operations director at Enjoy Travel Group’s Canada office in Montreal, in a previous interview with PAX. “Our head office is in Spain, we have 14 offices around the world. Our newest one is in Panama. Our company is well established.”
