Goway names Dean Moore CEO

Goway has named Dean Moore as its new chief executive officer, one year after he joined the company as chief operating officer.

Moore will now lead Goway’s North American operations, as well as a new portfolio that includes subsidiary companies Across Australia, based in Sydney and INA Prime, based in Manila.

Since joining Goway in 2025, Moore has overseen double-digit growth, streamlined operations and led changes to the company’s technology systems, according to the company.

Moore joined Goway as the company marked its 55th anniversary. 

He has spent 25 years in the global travel industry, working in the U.K., continental and northern Europe, the U.S. and Canada.

His previous roles include executive director of transformation at MyTravel Group, COO and CEO of Thomas Cook’s North American division and COO and CEO of itravel2000.

“Dean shares my ambitious vision for Goway as the leading tailor-made travel company for globetrotters,” said Bruce Hodge, Goway’s founder and president. 

“He has helped move the needle dramatically through his tenacious leadership and rigorous commitment to driving results. Our leadership board and I feel we have found exactly the person to propel Goway into the future.”

As CEO, Moore will continue work on several projects tied to Goway’s travellers, travel advisors, partners and team members.

The company said technology will remain a major focus, with further investment planned in proprietary systems. 

Goway said it will also continue investing in its teams and company culture as it looks to grow its divisions and subsidiary companies.

It’s truly our people that will define our success in this era of technological change. It’s a privilege to continue leading Goway on our journey as the leader in tailor-made travel,” Moore said.

Hodge will remain as president and chairman and continue overseeing Goway’s subsidiary corporate travel division, Globespan Travel Management.

The company said Hodge also plans to spend more time on philanthropy and defining Goway’s legacy.

His first storytelling project, Tales from the Road, is now live on Goway.com. 

The monthly series will explore Goway’s origins and Hodge’s more than 55 years of travel.
