YYZ welcomes 40 million in 2015

Toronto Pearson International Airport celebrated its 40 millionth passenger of 2015 yesterday, becoming the first Canadian airport to mark such an annual milestone.

The airport hosted a celebration for yesterday, complete with cupcakes and gifts for passengers heading through the terminal buildings.

In surpassing the 40 million annual passenger benchmark, YYZ joins other global-hub airports like New York’s JFK, London’s Heathrow, and Beijing’s Capital International Airport.
