WestJet partners with Air Serbia on interline agreement

Air Serbia and WestJet have entered into a commercial partnership by inking a special prorate agreement (SPA), further improving connections between Europe and Canada.

Thanks to this partnership, passengers of Air Serbia and WestJet will have access to an expanded network of destinations in Canada and Europe, making it easier to plan trips.

Air Serbia currently operates direct flights between Belgrade and Toronto, and now, passengers coming from Belgrade will be able to connect with numerous Canadian cities in WestJet’s network, including Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

The partnership brings greater flexibility and availability of destinations, an improved customer experience, and a simplified airfare purchasing process for connecting flights.

With this partnership, we offer an ever-wider choice of destinations across Canada to our passengers, with easier and more efficient connections via Toronto,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia, in a statement.

“We are pleased to welcome Air Serbia as our newest interline partner,” added John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.

“WestJet and Air Serbia are making it easier for travellers to explore more of Canada with confidence and convenience. Air Serbia and WestJet say they will continue to explore ways to strengthen cooperation and offer better travel options for passengers.
