WestJet offering pre-reserved seats & more via Amadeus

WestJet has implemented Amadeus Airline Ancillary Services, making its pre- reserved seats including Plus seats and fare families available in the Amadeus global distribution channel.

Amadeus Airline Fare Families has also been implemented for WestJet, making its Econo, Flex and Plus fare options available in the Amadeus System. This will enable the airline to increase branding, differentiation and upsell opportunities of its travel offers by clearly showcasing the full value of each bundled fare. Amadeus-connected travel agents, in turn, can now better serve their customers by proposing the fares that best match traveler preferences.

WestJet is the 24th carrier to be fully implemented on Amadeus Airline Fare Families.
