Vision the first to use CSI globalVCard in Canada

The CSI globalVCard will be available for the first time in Canada with Vision Travel.

The technology, designed to support corporate travel managers across the country through single-use electronic payment, is expected to make facilitating travel arrangements easier for travel managers, as well as help control fraud, policy compliance and reconciliation within the company.

The globalVCard is a virtual card payment system that is integrated with Vision Travel's management booking software. Each reservation (air, hotel and car) is booked and paid for using a unique virtual card number that becomes invalid after each transaction and provides exact billing. This ensures that each transaction is highly secure and gives travel managers the ability to record each transaction by person, trip and/or event, Vision explained in a release.

The globalVCard also features a mobile app that drives all virtual card and reservation data directly to the traveller's mobile device. The app also sends a faxed authorization to the front desk prior to arrival automatically.
