Turkish Airlines expands operations in Vancouver, Toronto & Montreal
Turkish Airlines has announced a significant expansion of its Canadian operations starting in July 2026.
Türkiye’s flag carrier will add additional frequencies on its routes connecting Toronto Pearson airport (YYZ), Vancouver International Airport (YVR), and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Istanbul Airport (IST), offering Canadian travellers more options than ever to reach Türkiye and beyond through its network.
With the new schedule additions, Turkish Airlines will offer seven weekly flights from Toronto (YYZ), four weekly flights from Vancouver (YVR), and four weekly flights from Montréal (YUL), significantly strengthening connectivity between Canada and Istanbul.
A new Saturday departure from Istanbul (TK17) and return from Toronto (TK18) will be added to Turkish Airlines' existing Toronto schedule as of July 4–5, 2026, bringing total weekly service to seven flights.
For Vancouver (YVR), an additional Sunday flight will be added to the Vancouver–Istanbul route beginning July 5, 2026, increasing weekly service to 4 frequencies; meanwhile, a new Tuesday frequency on the Montréal–Istanbul route launches July 7, 2026, bringing weekly service to 4 flights.
