Travelpack vies for Canadian business
A year after opening an office in Mississauga, Ontario, U.K.-based tour operator Travelpack has now launched its 2014-2015 Africa brochure, with hopes of making gains in the Canadian marketplace.
The brochure will be distributed by Envoy on Aug. 14 and will serve as an itinerary guide for consumers, featuring Travelpack’s various tour packages to numerous African countries including Kenya, Madagascar, South Africa and Rwanda, to name a few. According to Travelpack’s Jennifer Sampedro, all packages are customizable for individual travellers.
The company’s India brochure will also launch in the coming weeks, she said.
Having been in operation for more than 30 years (including offices in India), Travelpack has been steadily building its Canadian presence since 2013 and is seeking preferred supplier status with various consortiums in Canada.
Until Sept. 5, Travelpack is offering agents 12 per cent commission on all tours with a booking incentive of $50. Additionally, agents booking tour packages to Namibia will be entered in a draw for a trip to the country.
