One of the busiest travel times of the year has returned, as travellers hit the road or take to the skies for the annual March Break vacation.
Ahead of the break, Toronto’s Pearson International Airport is expected to see approximately 116,000 travellers pass through its terminals today; the airport sees approximately 100,000 passengers on an average day, according to a release from YYZ.
Due to these increased numbers, travellers to all airports are advised to check their flight status before arriving, while leaving plenty of time for check-in. Travellers are also reminded of packing requirements and to bring proper identification and documents.
