Trafalgar rolls out new tour to Rome

Trafalgar has released its new 2016 Italy brochure, featuring 17 itineraries and seven trip styles including cruise, rail and combinations with varied pace, duration and focus.

Among the tours available is its all-new, eight-day Rome Explorer itinerary, an At Leisure trip designed for first-time visitors to Rome looking to explore the city in-depth.

Clients will see Rome, the Vatican City and Tivoli with a local specialist while also visiting the ancient sites of the Colosseum, the Pantheon, local food markets and neighborhood bakeries. Guests will also learn how to make pasta with a professional chef.

During their free day, travellers can choose to explore Ostia Antica with a lunch at the beach.

A Roman farewell dinner will round out the journey’s end, hosted by a local family in an apartment that formerly belonged to the famous filmmaker, Michelangelo Antonioni.

Past passenger discounts of five per cent per person (land only) are available for travellers who have previously travelled with The Travel Corporation’s family of brands.

Trafalgar is also offering an Early Payment Discount with savings of up to $1050 per couple on 2016 Italy guided vacations when booked and paid by Jan. 14th, 2016.
