SkyGreece, BH Air form strategic partnership

SkyGreece Airlines has entered a strategic joint venture with BH Air in Bulgaria, adding routes which include Sofia to Athens, Thessaloniki, Zagreb and Budapest with the intention of strengthening its position in Eastern Europe and in the Balkans.

BH Air, an IATA and IOSA carrier which started operations 14 years ago in Bulgaria, has three Airbus 320s, one Airbus 319 and one Airbus 330 in its present fleet. 

The joint venture with BH Air will mean an addition of five aircraft to the SkyGreece program, a development that will increase their direct flight service between Europe and North America.

SkyGreece Airlines will start its North America operations on May 17, 2015 with direct flights between Athens, Thessaloniki, Budapest and Zagreb and Montreal and Toronto.
