Sabre Corporation has enhanced its AirCentre Flight Explorer solution using Planefinder data, offering additional coverage globally for aircraft position information.
The addition of Planefinder data will expand Sabre Flight Explorer’s flight-tracking capabilities toward complete global coverage, particularly in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Central and South America, where coverage was often limited to proprietary flight data.
Through Planefinder, data such as ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast System) enables airlines to track aircraft with increased awareness of conditions that could impact flights, resulting in reduced air traffic delays and increased fuel and flight time efficiency.
