Porter receives the fewest customer complaints: CTA
The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) has released its latest quarterly data on the number of complaints received by domestic and global airlines.
Posted to its website here, the latest figures show that Porter Airlines has received the fewest number of complaints when placed next to its competitors, averaging 1.3 out of 100 flights.
The CTA’s latest complaint data reflects information that was collected between April 2023 and June 2024.
Canada's current and now-defunct low-cost carriers have come out on top in the complaints department.
Lynx Air, which folded in February, took the top spot with 18.9 complaints per 100 flights. Flair Airlines came in second place, with 15 complaints per every 100 flights.
WestJet has had a tough go in recent months when it comes to customer satisfaction. Following delays and cancellations brought on by strikes and weather-related issues, it placed fifth in the CTA’s ranking.
Air Canada, meanwhile, came in seventh place with an average of five complaints per 100 flights.
