New hotel coming to Canouan Resort property

A new luxury hotel option is coming to St. Vincent & The Grenadines next month, offering additional accommodations for the destination.

Canouan Resort is currently in the final stages of completing an agreement with a luxury international hotel management company, who will manage the new hotel and also take over the management and operation of the residences.

The new $200 million dollar island property features 26 suites and 20 hotel villas and residences, along with a golf course, spa with a marina opening in 2016-17, along with a nearby airport featuring a 5,900-ft.runway, two private jets and a shared jet service from Barbados.

A sneak preview of the new hotel commences on Dec. 15 to a few past guests, while a soft opening is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2016. The grand opening date will be announced by the hotel management company once the management agreement is finalized.
