More TICO charges for Toronto agent

A Toronto agent previously charged by TICO is facing another round of Travel Industry Act charges.

Carolyn (Michelle) Solomon and 1924067 Ontario Inc., operating as Blue Mountain Travel were each charged with the following offences:

• Carolyn Solomon – with eight counts of operating as a travel agent without registration
• 1924067 Ontario Inc. – with one count of operating as a travel agent without registration

Solomon was a sole director and officer of 1924067 Ontario Inc., which has never been registered as a travel agent under the Act. Solomon and 1924067 Ontario Inc. operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario.

The first court appearance in this matter is scheduled for Jan. 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Offences Court, located at 70 Centre Ave. in Toronto.

TICO laid corresponding charges on Placido Calore and 407488 Ontario Ltd. operating as Business & Vacation Planners, operating as Blue Mountain Travel, for doing business with Carolyn Solomon.
