Transport Canada has also extended the requirement for pre-departure COVID-19 testing from a third country for passengers travelling to Canada from India by indirect route.

As a result, passengers travelling from India to Canada by indirect route will still be required to be tested for COVID-19 prior to their departure from a third country other than India to continue their journey to Canada.

The Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) does not apply to cargo-only operations, medical transfers, or military flights.
