Flair to start Montreal-Punta Cana flights in December

Flair Airlines has announced new non-stop service between Montreal and Punta Cana, beginning December 17, 2026, as the airline continues expanding its presence in Quebec and growing its network of sun destinations for Canadians.

“We see tremendous opportunity for Flair to continue growing in Quebec as customers seek more choice and better value,” said Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines, in a press release. “Punta Cana joining Cancun as part of our growing sun network from Montréal is an exciting milestone and reflects our continued investment in the Québec market. We’re thrilled to expand our network and bring more travel options to customers across the province.”

Following the recent announcement of Flair’s winter service to Cancun, Punta Cana becomes the second major sun destination added from Montreal as the airline continues growing its presence in Quebec.

“We’re excited to announce Punta Cana as Flair’s third destination from Montréal, following the successful launch of service to Vancouver and Cancun,” added Vijay Bathija, chief revenue officer at Flair Airlines. “This winter, Flair will offer more than 31,000 seats from YUL as we continue growing our network in the Québec market and expanding options for customers.”

Flights between Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) will operate three times per week, with fares starting at $224 CAD one way. Fares are subject to government approval and may change.

“We warmly welcome Flair Airlines’ decision to launch nonstop service between Montréal and Punta Cana, a destination that continues to captivate Québec travellers seeking sun, culture, and unforgettable experiences,” said Cosette Garcia, director at the Dominican Republic Tourism Office, in a statement.

“This new route not only strengthens air connectivity between our regions but also supports the continued growth of tourism and creates exciting opportunities for travellers and industry partners alike. We look forward to welcoming even more Canadian visitors to discover the beauty and hospitality of Punta Cana.”
