Flair launches flights to Mexico City from Vancouver & Toronto
Flair Airlines launched inaugural flights to Mexico City airport (MEX) from Vancouver airport (YVR) on October 27 and will add Toronto Pearson (YYZ) on October 28.
To celebrate this milestone, gate events are being held at YVR, YYZ, and MEX airports.
“Making it easier for Mexicans to explore Canada, and for Canadians to discover Mexico, it’s what affordable, modern aviation is supposed to do,” said Maciej Wilk, CEO of Flair, in a press release. “This route is a major win for our customers. We’re proud to expand our international network and make meaningful connections more accessible for all.”

The first flights from both Vancouver and Toronto are completely sold out, the airline said.

It not only strengthens ties among the many Mexican residents and communities in the Greater Toronto Area but also opens new avenues for Canadian travellers, business leaders, and cultural enthusiasts to explore Mexico's vibrant culture and dynamic economy. By improving air connectivity, we promote understanding, collaboration, and shared prosperity between our nations.”
