Flair expands Elavon partnership to enhance chargeback management
(Flair Airlines)

Flair Airlines is expanding its partnership with global payments provider Elavon, adopting the company's managed chargeback services across its payments environment as part of an effort to improve operational efficiency and strengthen its payment dispute processes.

The airline said the expanded relationship is designed to enhance chargeback management, streamline dispute handling across multiple payment acquirers, and support long-term business resilience as Flair continues to grow its network and customer base.

"Effective chargeback management is an important part of maintaining a strong and reliable payments environment," said Sumanth Rao, chief financial officer of Flair Airlines, in a release.

"Expanding our relationship with Elavon helps strengthen our approach to dispute management, improve operational efficiency, and support a more resilient payments experience long term."

Under the expanded agreement, Elavon will provide comprehensive dispute and chargeback management services across multiple payment acquirers, helping Flair improve process consistency while managing disputes in accordance with evolving industry and card network standards.

The companies said the enhanced partnership builds on previous work together to reduce fraud and chargeback exposure through operational guidance and dispute management support. According to the release, that collaboration resulted in lower chargeback volumes, stronger dispute defence outcomes and improved alignment with industry best practices.

"Elavon's chargeback management services help merchants navigate an increasingly complex dispute and fraud landscape," said Brett Turner, head of global airlines acquiring at Elavon. "We're proud to deepen our relationship with Flair Airlines and support its continued growth with comprehensive dispute management services across multiple acquirers."

Flair said the expanded relationship reflects its continued investment in scalable systems and strategic partnerships that support the airline's long-term growth.
