Fire crews battle blaze at Ritz Paris
Emergency crews in Paris are battling a blaze at one of the world’s most iconic hotels, after a fire engulfed the top floor of the Ritz Paris.
The Associated Press reported that the fire broke out on the roof of the hotel, which has been undergoing renovations for three years and is scheduled to re-open in March. Police said that so far, there have been no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
The hotel, located in the city’s upscale Place Vendome, is renowned for drawing high-profile guests including Coco Chanel, Ernest Hemingway and Princess Diana.
