Ethiopian Airlines' non-stop return YYZ-ADD flight launches this month

Ethiopian Airlines will launch the first-ever non-stop return service between Addis Ababa and Toronto this month, with the first flight taking place Feb. 18.

The new flight will eliminate the return fuel stop in Dublin and reduce the flying time by an hour, Ethiopian Airlines said.

“We are very excited by this news for our valued customers. With increased direct flights from Toronto to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia we want travellers to know that this adds extra convenience when flying to and from Africa.“ said Birhan Abate, Ethiopian Airlines's country manager for Canada. “We want Canadians to know we are the only airline offering this direct return non-stop service and we want to become their first choice when it comes to choosing a flight to Africa.”

Ethiopian Airlines Canada has five-weekly flights from Toronto to Addis Ababa, operating with Boeing 787-900 XWB aircraft from the major hub in Addis Ababa. The carrier recently celebrated five years of service to Toronto.
